Become a community
creator
In Summer 2025, we are inviting all villagers and friends to join us in building a uniqe community space in CPH Village Østerbro.
Join us and….
Learn how to build a house!
Meet a lot of your neighbors
Be part of a new way of creating cities
001 Dream
We believe more people should have the opportunity to take a more direct part in shaping the cities, the neighborhoods, and the spaces they live in—especially the shared ones that bring us together.
That’s why we’re working on a building system that makes it simple to design, order, and assemble your own buildings. No special skills required—just a desire to take part.
The first building created this way will be built together with the community in Village Østerbro this summer.
It’s a first step toward a future where building your surroundings isn't reserved for experts—but open to everyone who wants to take part.
002 From idea to blueprint
Nerd alert.
To turn dream into reality, we’ve joined forces with top engineers who translate your designs into fully functional blueprints—complete with statics, fire safety, and a detailed materials list.
003 Robot, chop chop
Our design engine is connected to these two robots that are located in Århus.
They cut, prepare, and package every single piece—ready for human hands to bring it all together.
The result? A ready-to-assemble building kit, made to be built by a community.
And yes—we’ve already hit “order” for the Østerbro building.
This is where it gets real.
We believe we can raise the building in 23 days—with the help of committed citizens like you.
You can join one or more of the days. We will be a group of 5-10 people each day.
Here’s is the draft program.

005 Use it and evolve it
After its assembled, its time to use the space and to improve it.
We will hand over a a digital “Sims” like model of the space so that you and your neighbours can try out different furnishing styles and even add things like windows and walls.
Use this to come up with ideas that you can discuss with your neighbors.
Every year, we set aside a budget for community-led upgrades. This building will continue to grow and adapt—because you’ll help shape what it becomes.
Your role
For each working day we need minimum 5 persons. All will be doing multiple assembly task during the day, but you may also be given one of the following special roles that we will train you in:
Site master
Throughout the day, you will make sure that the building site is neat and tidy and that safety measures are upheld. Also that we cover materials with tarpaulins in case of rain.
Manual master
Throughout the day, you will be in charge of the assembly manual we have made and know what the next step is. You will clarify any questions with our backend engineers. and communicate with the team.
Measure master
Throughout the day, you will check that measures are as described in the manual
Good vibes master
Throughout the day, you will make sure there is music, food and good vibes! You will also document the process with video and photos.
